The goals of biomesh.org are to:
The first annual “FEA in Biology” workshop was held from June 9th-16th, 2007 on the University of Massachusetts, Amherst campus. Ten workshop particpants learned the methods we use to rapidly generate and analyze detailed 3D finite element models of complex biological structures from stacks of 2D images. Click here to see the exciting results of the participant's projects!!
The biomesh.org project is sponsored by the National Science Foundation, the Office of the Vice Provost for Research at UMass Amherst, and Strand7 Computing. Please read more about our sponsors. For more information on becoming a biomesh.org sponsor, please contact Betsy Dumont or Ian Grosse. |
