The third annual “FEA in Biology” workshop was held from August 8th - 15th, 2009 on the University of Massachusetts, Amherst campus. Particpants will learn the methods we use to rapidly generate and analyze detailed 3D finite element models of complex biological structures from stacks of 2D images.
The biomesh.org project is sponsored by the National Science Foundation, the Office of the Vice Provost for Research at UMass Amherst, and Strand7 Computing. Please read more about our sponsors. For more information on becoming a biomesh.org sponsor, please contact Betsy Dumont or Ian Grosse. |
